Yes, I am super happy! I realized early in the race that the past few weeks of rest had really taken a toll on my endurance, so instead of hoping to progress to my goal pace, I decided to just hold steady and try to enjoy the experience. I faded a bit after mile 20 so when I was able to still come in under 4 hours I was ecstatic!
Awesome!! Happy to hear it! And I'm so glad you were able to just relax and mostly enjoy the experience. I saw your Insta hashtag "Never Again" so I just wanted to make sure, LOL
You are a stud!! Congratulations! Way to gut it out and finish your first of many marathons to come, and you broke four hours! Nice job! Can't wait to hear all of the gory details.
Congrats again!! I can't wait for your recap!! Are you happy with how things went?
